GRILLED ITALIAN STEAK
8 6-8 oz boneless sirloin or london broil steaks|
3/4 cup Italian salad dressing
2 tbs parmesan cheese, freshly grated
2 tsp dried basil leaves, crushed
1/4 tsp cracked black pepper
In large shallow baking dish or plastic bag, combine all ingredients except steaks; mix well. Add steaks; turn to coat. Cover dish or close bag, and marinate in refrigerator, turning occasionally, 3 hours or overnight. Remove steaks, reserving marinade. Grill or broil steaks to desired doneness.
Meanwhile, in small saucepan, bring reserved marinade to a boil, then pour over steak. Serves 8.
